Why I do what I do

I'm Heather: wife, mother & photographer. I'm a boy mom & proud of it! My guys are my pride & joy and my greatest achievement in life!

I've always been very artistic & loved photography, but a few years ago everything changed. I took a few photography classes, just for fun, & fell in love! It didn't hurt that I had an amazing professor that pushed me & fed my artistic hunger. Yet, it wasn’t until I specifically started working as a Wedding Photographer that I understood the real power of capturing a once-in-a-lifetime moment. I seek out those intimate & joyful moments, capturing the essence of every couple’s special day on camera. To have a collection of photos you'll cherish for the rest of your life & generations to come.

I enjoy photo-journalistic/lifestyle photography of children & families, engagements, weddings & elopements, but there is no end to my desire to create beautiful images, so I do it all.

I've been lucky enough to continue my education, be mentored by Award Winning Photographer Sandy Dorau & collaborate on projects with other phenomenal photographers.

My editorial work was also recently published in FRESH magazine with an article on Actress Tamara Duarte.
